Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Here are the boots in question, and only for $11.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, that's a tragic thrifting loss, Hec. But some other little girl will be rapturously happy when she finds them.

Man. I just changed the toner cartridge in my laser printer, and it was apocalyptic with exploding black dust. I am sure I just lost, well, probably seconds off my life. Fun though. Now if only I could figure out what I need to clean to make it stop making those lines across the bottom of my prints.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Argh.

I hate bureaucracy. I was all, "YAY" about finding a creative way to get this enormous project moving forward. It would have been a huge feather in my cap. And now I've learned that we probably can't do it the way I'm thinking, and I've had to get the lawyers involved.

I am a lawyer: I know and love many lawyers. And getting the lawyers involved in this is not going to end well. ::sigh::

I'm also tired of being blamed for the red tape. I didn't make the red tape, people! And if I skipped over the red tape for someone else's project, you'd be the first people yelling for me to get fired or arrested for skipping the red tape! Argh.

I completely recognized the look on her face as she tried and tried to shove those boots and there was just no way. That sort of gritty determined set to the mouth in the face of an immovable size-too-small.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

MCR CONCERT TONIGHT! Cass and I are each other's designated adults. Someone be ready to post bail or provide an alibi, 'kay?

And we do have the time to live forever.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

The great thing about doing costumes is that you can buy the thrifting losses and use them for someone else! I pretty much buy any reasonably priced vintage anything in good condition under $5.00

I need to step away from the documentary about people hving to leave their pets during Katrina. I know I am going to weep.

Federal tax return came in today. Yay! Paid annual car insurance and quarterly water bill. Boo!

Sluggish swim today, but I slept funny and so my neck was bothering me the first mile. Luckily, that seemed to unkink it and the second mile was pain free.

Did some more touch up painting and am doing laundry now.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm sitting at home nebulizing after going to a pharmacy different from my usual because they were the only place that had the right stuff available today.

But, but, but I have good news! Talked with my group leader about my merit raise. Average this year is 2.5% and I'm getting 3.5%. This is after the 5% mid-year raise, so I really wasn't expecting much. 3.5%!!!!!!! I know exactly where the extra is going, but that is fine by me.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Woo hoo, Suzi! AWESOME.

Lots of errands including spending $160 I didn't have on a new tire. We also went to the gardens, resulting in a photo I took of Noah: [link] and one he took of the gardens: [link]
