"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

But Chara is a giant. Chara also made the cup itself look small.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations, Matt! And the Bruins. That's a long time coming.

Thrive to spite them

Seeing Chara and Martin St. Louis standing next to each other is hysterical. Here's a picture [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Would any physics nerds care to offer my little sister help on this physics problem?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

There was a random pink pedestal sink from a bunch of props at the nonprofit I went to today (long story). I kind of want it - the sink in my bathroom is teeeny and the space needs some color.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoo, Bruins! Sorry I wasn't here to celebrate live with you, Matt! I went out with my girls.

But yeah, Thomas totally earned that Conn Smythe, and the Bruins totally earned this cup. I'm pretty daggone happy about being wrong about Vancouver! (eta: sorry, Kat!)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yowza! Boston managed to bring their home game to Vancouver in a big way.

On my way out of Boston tonight, all the bars near the "Garden" (since it's the new thing, not the real deal) had lines out the door. There must have been a wee bit of chaos there when the game was over.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Life is weird. Ok, follow this...

KCD is getting married on Sunday. His high school buddy, G, is going to be there. Twenty-two years ago, G married a high school friend, D, who already had one child, R. They had two other children together, but that is beside the point. I remember that it was 22 years ago, cause it was the weekend after the Loma Prieta earthquake and K-Bug was a bun in the oven. We would visit their family occasionally, more in the last 7 years than before. K-Bug kinda had a crush on R, but they were either too young, funny age difference points, or in a relationship, so it was just innocent flirtation. Flash forward, K-Bug and R have reconnected, neither is in a relationship and both are quite interested. They are keeping their budding whatever a secret for now, I only officially found out because he wants to come visit when K-Bug moves out here, he is in New Mexico, a mear 8 hour drive. I'm not allowed to say anything since KCD will see R's dad, G, this weekend.

I so totally want to be there when KCD finds out about this.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oo Suzi, that has the makings of a great story.
