Now hold on, I'm gonna press the right pedal harder. I expect us to accelerate.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good lord, I'm going to eat all 11 of these little cupcakes, aren't I? Poor planning on my part, making sweet things before dinner.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Wait, you did wet men, right?

Wet men, barefoot men, all the provocateuse sites--those are me. LOM was shrift from way way back. From before I'd even met her, I think.

Our wings are not tired.

I still love the part in Reality Bites where EH says Stiller is "the reason Cliffs Notes were invented" Although I feel more sympathy for Michael now...I could see how you could have good intentions and still be *That Guy*

This is why I like to re-read books and re-watch movies at different points in life. It's always eye-opening to see how our own maturity and life experience informs our perspectives, isn't it?

What movies or books have you re-watched where your life experience altered your opinion on a character's choices?

Star Wars. Took me two or three times through to become a Han Solo girl. I was Luke and then Lando first.

I seem to have lost a burrito. I'm not so much worried about having lost it. I'm more worried about when I'll find it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

When I first watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I thought she was awesome. When I saw it again a few years later, I could see how she was a controlling asshole.

This would make a great Pweet.

Because books.

I loved Liesl's song and dance in The Sound of the Music and Kim's in Bye Bye Birdie. I watch them now and cringe, especially with Liesl.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I really now think that Holden Caulfield is a whiny bitch (much like Ethan Hawke in Reality Bites). Of course, even as a child, I sympathized with the Fish in Cat in the Hat.
