When I first watched Hedwig and the Angry Inch, I thought she was awesome. When I saw it again a few years later, I could see how she was a controlling asshole.

I loved Liesl's song and dance in The Sound of the Music and Kim's in Bye Bye Birdie. I watch them now and cringe, especially with Liesl.
I really now think that Holden Caulfield is a whiny bitch (much like Ethan Hawke in Reality Bites). Of course, even as a child, I sympathized with the Fish in Cat in the Hat.
I was always a Han Solo girl. I was kind of smug when I was 8 that the other girls could have Luke if they wanted, less competition for Han.
