I'm thinking mine was lost by the post in a drift a block from the recipient's home, and won't be uncovered until April.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2010: Don't Let the Door Hit Ya...
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2010? We have a few words for you.
I am contacting people today to check up again.
I was part of the slacker exchange. I was just hoping the post office wouldn't add this much to my slackage.
I have my package from Java Cat! I have many samples of Peet's Coffee, plus a bunch of other cool and interesting stuff. So far, I have had "Major Dickinson's" coffee AIFG. I'm trying to figure out how to compare them.
I suspect my delivery time was caused by the World's Worst Mailman, who seems to have spread out the mail that was saved when I was out of town.
I just received an abolutely beautiful handmade pottery jug and sugar dish from Calli. Thank you so much! It's a little bit of Christmas joy in the gloom of January!
The cats are equally overjoyed by the gift of foam packing peanuts.
The original post office mark says Dec 9th, and I got my package notification yesterday, so it may have had some adventures along the way. They claim they tried to deliver it then, but I seem to remember it being awfully snowy around then...
msbelle, I just got the magnets! Thank you! I especially like the tiny pink pigs!
yay! enjoy!
I will!
I got a fabulous package from Deena yesterday! It was from Ten Thousand Villages, one of my favorite stores, and it had a gorgeous red-and-black embroidered purse from Laos -- big enough to fit a book, which is key -- and three delicious-smelling soaps from India. I can't wait to use them all! Also, the package was gift-wrapped with a very pretty little star ornament on top, which is the second ornament I received from Deena, since she also sent me a beautiful red-and-gold one from Suzi several weeks ago. Thank you, thank you, Deena!
Oh, good! I'm glad the gift finally made it to you, Jars.
