In No Good Deed Goes Unpunished news, I stopped by my parents' place after work tonight and finally got their TV to recognize the DVD player they were given for Christmas so they can watch movies. And then came home to find a bill from the oral surgeon for the $1400+ of the wisdom tooth extraction costs that my insurance was supposed to be paying.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2010: Don't Let the Door Hit Ya...
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2010? We have a few words for you.
Argh. I knew I was going to be late with my present (which is why I signed up for the slacker exchange), but I just found out today that the main part of it is going to be delayed getting to me, so now I'm going to be REALLY late.
I suck.
Have you lost part of your present in the house? Then you don't suck.
Me, on the other hand...
Not yet.
There's still time though.
I evidently got A Package last week, but the Roommate put it in a place that any reasonable human being would notice!
The upside is that I get a little bit of Xmas this week, courtesy of amyth! Which includes a tiara, pen, notepad, waterbottle, and what fills my heart with ultimate joy: an elegant rhinestone necklace. When my face isn't all swollen from sleep, I'll take a picture....
Thank you, Secret Santa Amyth!
Oh yay! I'm so glad you got it!
There was a package waiting on my doorstep! Lisa was my santa and she bought me amazing looking chocolate, some lovely B'more made candy canes and a hilarious Crab ornament. I can't wait to dig in to the chocolate. Thanka you so much!
Edited, because there's nothing satanic about Lisa. She's Santariffic!
Typo or Freudian slip?
Either way, it made me laugh.
Haha, I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.
Awesome.
