There was a package waiting on my doorstep! Lisa was my santa and she bought me amazing looking chocolate, some lovely B'more made candy canes and a hilarious Crab ornament. I can't wait to dig in to the chocolate. Thanka you so much!
Edited, because there's nothing satanic about Lisa. She's Santariffic!
Either way, it made me laugh.
Haha, I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.
Awesome.
I shouldn't type when I'm too excited.
I have most of my package ready to go out, but there's one bit I'm waiting on. I'm very sorry santee. It will be there soon, I swear!
Um I am sometimes a little Satanic! Hope you enjoy, Sue!
Me too - I am
almost
ready to send, but still piecing together the last little bit. I promise it will be there soon!
I got Drew in 2010. I had him before, but the ceremony on the Maui beach with us in all our finery and the minister in khakis and sunglasses and the sun settling so beautifully in the background was the perfect setting to become husband and wife. For us, it was perfect.
The couple of months he spent so ill were awful, but he got good care and has come out the other side a healthier, wiser man. As I've said before, I think we've aptly covered the "in sickness" part of the vows. I'm looking forward to a nice long stretch of health. And happiness. Always that too because I was lucky enough to marry my best friend.
I wish everyone a happy, healthy, fun 2011--a year when laughter makes us cry far more often than sorrow; a year when we all feel loved and cherished and know we have family in many forms who have our backs. Peace, joy, and laughter to you all.
