Man, that etsy lady does *not* know who she's thwarting.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2010: Don't Let the Door Hit Ya...
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2010? We have a few words for you.
I sent her a very nice email back, saying all was fine, no worries.
Hey guys, sorry. I've been sick and I had all my stuff on an old computer, but you will get your info you requested tonight /tomorrow.
msbelle is killing me.
I want to take some time to open and post about my stuff, and that time is not now. Tomorrow, La Secreta!
I am also ded of msbelle. If this is the response to secretiveness, I'm totally being sneaky next year!
Thank you, Sue! It was a lovely surprise.
Yay, I'm so glad you like. And I was so thrilled to be able to send you something anonymously.
I don't know Avison super well. I've studied a few of her poems and I liked them. My other choice was Michael Ondaatje, but I feel like people either really love him (as I do) or really hate him and I wasn't sure if you had an opinion.

I'm not familiar with Ondaatje, either. Aside from Oliver, my knowledge of modern poets is pretty sad. I'll have to look him up.
He's more famous for his prose (he wrote The English Patient), but he started out as a poet.
If I encourage people to be more sneaky and secrety in the gifting ways, then my work here is done. It's like a whole other gift, the hunt, the fake outrage, the ridiculousness. priceless.
I like the sneaky! Also, I like the msbelle hunting-for-it.
Dear Secret Santa receiver person.... I will send stuff. I PROMISE. But I am sort of swamped today and what I have to send will be out tomorrow. I do promise.
