I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The first season has the episode where Sheldon is sick, which is the greatest thing ever. EVER.

It really is.

Are the Sherlock episodes free-standing, each 1 1/2 hours or so?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sometimes, when something bad is going on, I hear Sheldon in my head. "You're all doomed. DOOOOOMED."

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sherlock? Anyone?

Well not for another 20 minutes, no.

Stupid time zones. I want more Crash noooooooowwwwwwwwwwww. In HD. Where he is very intriguing looking and Watson wears cuddly ribbed jumpers.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

SO MUCH FUN GIVING OUT CANDY!!!!

Since I'm in the 'burbs for once I took full advantage. I broke out my Wednesday Addams gear and added a blood-spatter manicure and some blood dribbling on my lip.

I might as well have been naked or invisible or something, however, because my dog in a $4 spider costume was the hit of the block. She IS pretty adorable.

When teenagers slacked and had no costume I told them they had to make up SOMETHING in order to get candy. One girl declared herself the personfication of beauty and her friend said, "I am dressed as ME!" with the biggest grins. They got double candy.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Just back from T or T. This is the first year we have taken the kids. We were in Pasadena, at our friend's house. We did one block, maybe 5 houses. Grace walked, with assistance, the whole way and Noah did his things. We realized a strategic error when we knew Grace couldn't say or sign trick or treat. Oops.

When we got back to S's place, Noah had a job of handing out candy which he loves more than asking for it. And Grace played with many glow sticks which made her happy.

I love our Halloween tradition which revolves around Halloween books for a month, then hanging at a friend's place.
