Well, at least the Rapture is set for after the MCR shows I'm going to.

Also, I know that Onerous Task Day was Tuesday, but I think I saved it all up for today. Therapy, returning some stuff that Mom had purchased, work, laundering petticoats and square dance dresses, setting up an appointment with a vintage clothing store about selling those petticoats and square dance dresses, cleaning a bazillion strands of faux pearls, then making two different necklaces out of them. I would like a sparkly pink star now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Seconded.

This means I don't have to do anything tomorrow, right?

Oh, except go to the doctor, and do dayjob stuff, and do more laundry, and go dancing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

After Juliana's play (which was even better as a full production), we were chatting outside with the other cast members, and the writer joked that he was going to go home and drink tequila shots off a stripper.

"Hookers and blow!" said Juliana, as if it were the most natural thing in the world...until she realized that not everyone she knew was a Buffista.

I got it, though. She was glad for that.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

until she realized that not everyone she knew was a Buffista.

I can't tell you how many times at work I've said "The lurkers support me in e-mail!" as part of a serious conversation, only to be met with blank stares. Then I remember.

Hahaha! I was trying to explain to someone the other day, and it just didn't work. Though this sounds like it ought to be part of a story, or a poem-- "'Hookers and blow!' said Juliana, as if it were the most natural thing in the world"

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Perhaps it will replace the traditional Buffista greeting. No more "You changed your hair!" all "Hookers and blow!"

I know this is a crazy question but do any news channels actually show .. news? Like, if news broke, could I find it on tv?

eta: CNN breaks into Anderson Cooper repeats. And then congratulates itself for showing news.

That was a huge earthquake.
