SO sad to be on this side of the country right now. The opposite side from all the lemons.

Come to San Fran Frisky, lisah, and I'll make you the lemon garlic cream pasta.
NYistas! Has anybody gone to this Egyptian restaurant, Mombar? It looks really good.
Stupidly, I never went there, even though I lived relatively close by.
Some supervillian put a crazy-ray on the moon, aimed at the Earth.
I BET THAT'S TRUE.
Come to San Fran Frisky, lisah, and I'll make you the lemon garlic cream pasta.
yum! Sadly, I think all our long-distance travel this year is going to be to Ireland. Well, sad to miss out on seeing my CA people but YAY IRELAND!! (SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THAT PART)!
We will happily pluck your lemon tree!
Then come over. JZ and I have been playing email/phone tag for weeks. I just can't really entertain - no energy. BUT I have lemons that you're more than welcome to and I would love to see you.
lisah, that's so cool. Ireland is in my top 3 favorite countries to visit. I just love that country to bits.
Onerous job application: DONE. Now I need to send an onerous email note to their division administrator so that my application isn't lost in a sea of preferential rehires. Blergh.
Maybe this Sunday, java? And if you need help with stuff around the house, just give me a list when I walk in.
I've only been once, to the north when I was a teenager and Bob's never been. I'm already a little sad we can't go for longer and see more (like my family in Cork) but we have an awesome trip planned! We are doing a bike tour of Connemara and the Aran Islands. Plus a few days in Dublin. !!!
JZ, Sunday should be fine! You don't need to do any of my housework, but you can bring a load of your laundry to do! And be sure to bring some shoes you won't mind getting muddy if you want to pick lemons!
lisa, ha, that's the opposite of me! I spent ALL of my time in the southwest part of the country and didn't even visit Dublin. I loved loved loved just driving around the coast endlessly visiting the tiny towns and drinking lots of pulled Murphys.
That trip is going to be amazing, lisah! I loved my trip to Ireland. Make sure you budget to buy some gorgeous handmade sweaters on the cheap.
java, as JZ notes, we'd be happy to help out with stuff around her house and just visit. No need to entertain. We could feed you!
I loved loved loved just driving around the coast endlessly visiting the tiny towns and drinking lots of pulled Murphys.
I drove around the entire south and then western coast of Ireland, from Baltimore (the southernmost port in Ireland) to Dingle.
