All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It sounds like some of you have what I had last year. Thera-flu was my friend especially since I had to keep working. The acute symptoms did last a couple of weeks and the cough lingered much longer, but my coughs usually do.

Aimee! You have what I have, sort of. I haven't thrown up. But it's bad.

For night time I have tried: Nyquil, Theraflu, Delsym, Codeine Flonase (when my nose is stuffy), Zyrtec and in desperation sleeping pills and flexeril. Like you, not at the same time.

Last night it was Theraflu, Flexeril, Zyrtec and I slept until 3:00 before a coughing fit woke me. Unlike other nights I have been able to go back to sleep.

K has the same thing and both of us have been sick for WEEKS. K went to her doctor and she gave her antibios but it didn't help.

My ribs hurt. And Noah has it too. Blessedly, not Grace. Grace, is, however, colonized with MRSA.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I have had post nasal drip since December! The world's mildest cold has produced the most irritating mild side effect. Two weeks of flonase-- nothing. I'm beginning to think I have a brain fluid leak.

Aimee, if you're vomiting from the coughing, have you/your doctor considered pertussis (aka whooping cough)? It's making a strong comeback in the US (Cass had it!) and that's a classic symptom in adults.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

aimee if it doesn't settle you might need an inhaler for a few weeks -- and I am sure it would help you kat .

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh noes, that sounds like a very nasty bug. Aimee, stay home tomorrow if you can. I hope it gets better soon.

Kat, I hope you, Katie, Grace, and Noah all get better soon as well.

My MiL had MRSA, that's what climbed into her lungs over Xmas and sent her into the hospital for a week. How did Grace get it? During her hospital stay?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ZOMG, graded solid from 8:30 am to just now. 1:11 am my time.

I haven't even TOUCHED lesson plans; I will make Some Pedantic Shit Up tomorrow.

UGH UGH UGH. Must sleep so. SO had no weekend. I did not do anything fun, or leave the house once.

My darling husband did chore; have I gotten him a V-Day present yet? No, no I have not. After work tomorrow, I swear.

I know I should drop into bed now, but I need to wind down for a little bit.

God, my back hurts. I HATE our shitty, shallow tub. I miss my old deep tub.

(My diamond shoes pinch. I have a job and a house. But...TUB! Hot water to my chin, I LONG for thee!)

And...am up! With a very strong latte at my elbow.

Today is going to be a reading day in two of my classes, and writing lab in the other, as I have no plans and am far too exhausted to pull some fancy BS outta my ass.

OMG, I can see my dimly lit bedroom from my chair....the pull...is...magnetic. NO!

Caffeine.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So it turns out that pertussis has been going around the school and has been breaking out in our county in "epidemic" levels. Fan-fucking-tastic. Doctor's office opens in 20 minutes.
