Timelies right back!!

I fell asleep on the couch at 8:00 last night--so much for doing onerous closet cleaning last night. Then, I woke up on the couch at 4:00 am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I ended up cleaning off last night's show from the dvr and then decided to go for a morning swim. The pool was nicely empty of too many people at 7:30 on a Saturday morning, so I only had to share my lane with one other person for most of the swim (I had it to myself for about 8 laps total). Since I didn't have a friend to chat with, or have to worry about circle swimming, I was able to get my mile in 73 minutes, which considering my best time prior to this was 83, I was all Yay!! I know that tomorrow's swim will be long again, because I'm meeting my friend L at the pool, but that's okay.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I need to get cat food and deposit checks at my bank. I AM at least dressed....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am trapped under the cat. No plans until later, but I should really clean the bathroom and shower and whatnot....

Happy birthdays to Maria and Kristin!!

Happy birthday, Kristin and Maria!

Now, off to do my dishes from yesterday and cook up my scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, I can't work out if that would be ironic, appropriate, or if the two would cancel each other out.

It's so fuzzy and cute!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Have you guys ever heard of (or had) a cheese baby?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Not a cheese baby, but pizza babies were a regular part of my younger life.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I had scrambled eggs for breakfast! And I am cleaning my closet today, yes I am. I need to get to stepping if I want to achieve stuff, because I actually have obligations today and need to be somewhere by some time, and don't have the SO to herd me out the door at the appropriate moment.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I hadn't heard that term, but my sister and brother in law, who lived in Switzerland for a short time, had a big conversation about what you're supposed to drink with cheese fondue, presumably based on this debate.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there
