Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I had scrambled eggs for breakfast! And I am cleaning my closet today, yes I am. I need to get to stepping if I want to achieve stuff, because I actually have obligations today and need to be somewhere by some time, and don't have the SO to herd me out the door at the appropriate moment.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I hadn't heard that term, but my sister and brother in law, who lived in Switzerland for a short time, had a big conversation about what you're supposed to drink with cheese fondue, presumably based on this debate.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Never heard of it. Also, ew.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

just don't eat bacon. Either way, try this one --

Just don't like bacon.

That sounds awesome too!

I am also still in my PJs. I thought I might need to get dressed and out of the house in order to eat breakfast (out of several crucial ingredients), but then I remembered I have something in the freezer I can eat.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I get a "Chinese Food Baby", I guess. Or at least that is what happens to me when I have Chinese Food and wine.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I get food babies from almost anything that isn't a raw fruit or vegetable. *sigh*

sweet potatoes! One of my staples.

Roast chuncks of em after lightly spraying with olive oil and sprinkling with a wee bit of salt and pepper

make baked "fries" by cutting into slices before roasting. sprinkling with a bit of tumeric, or mustard seed, or paprika...whatever you have that sounds good. Rosemary at the end can also be lovely but not in combination with anything else but salt/pepper

bake em like a regular potato then mash with cinnamon for a sweet treat, or top with spicy black beans (and maybe pepperjack cheese) for a sweet/savory meal.

I like to steam artichokes with lemon and garlic slices, then dip in a mustardy lemony sauce...i can maybe find that recipe somewhere

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, cleaned part of the bathroom (tub and floor) and dealt with dishes, so that's something.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm watching "Take the Lead," because I will watch any dance movie, no matter how ridiculous. This one at least has Antonio Banderas.
