Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Happy Birthday, Suzi!

I wasn't useful today, although I did shred some documents and I sat with my mother and played Scrabble, and went to the dry-cleaners.

And I answered an email from my boss. Doesn't that mean I should get paid for the 30 seconds it took me to answer? Hmmm.

I spoke at length with the contracting firm that's probably going to get the position, and man, their benefits suck. No Kaiser (they're based in CO), and a total of 12 days of personal time per year (both vacation & sick leave). I asked for double that, since for once I'm in the catbird seat. We'll see. Hopefully this won't go on for long, but I'd like the option of taking vacation and getting sick during the year...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently Apple will try and fix my laptop for free. If it's only battery damage, I'm getting way lucky.

The woman next to me has Gabe/Nick in her calendar. I can't not go to a Supernatural slash place.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The photographer posted a teaser candid from our roller derby photo shoot. I'm dying to see the rest of the pictures!

My boss told me about it because she said I would be the only person in the office who would get it.

I get this a lot. Someone will start the story with, "I know you'll get this!"

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

My battery is charging! For free! OMG!!! I am so glad I didn't take it in to the repair shop I took my old one to. And now I'm tempted to get Apple Care to extend the warranty...fuck you, customer service, fuck you.

Good Wife: a keylogger isn't going to transmit Diane's email. Just what Alicia typed to her. Did she retype it? I'm not done with the ep yet. Maybe they explain it.

CHARGING!!! BATTERY!!!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice pic, Cash!

OK, a congressman is resigning after trying to pick up women on craigslist. [link] He's married. The picture is CLASSIC.

It's the internet. People you can't see can see you. It's a base tenet.
