Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nice pic, Cash!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's the internet. People you can't see can see you. It's a base tenet.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

At the grocery store today, I stopped at the water fountain to get a drink. The water fountain is right next to the vending machine for buying lottery tickets, and as I stood back up after getting the water, a guy buying tickets asked me if I wanted him to pray for anything for me.

My mommy sent me a pair of earrings for Valentines' Day. The round ones (the other two are from Xmas. Mom buys 99% of my earrings and rarely a miss...post style ones just need conversion, cause I prefer french hook.) [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Car people: Most of the way to work this morning my car seemed fine, but when I got on the off ramp, which ends at a stop sign so it's about a quarter mile of stop and go, it started feeling like the engine was stuttering a little, and then the Check engine soon light came on. I'd made plans to go to the repair shop at lunch, but when I got in the car to go, it seemed to be driving mostly okay, and the light was off.

Any ideas what was wrong? I made an appointment for Friday in case it happens again, but maybe I should go anyway.

Bad gas? But I'm the one driving a '97 with 100+K and ignored the day it took several tries and a lot of blue smoke to start. And I'm pretty sure I need new tires. So I am suspect for advice.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The Ateneo Grand Splendid Bookstore

It's in this beautiful old theater.

That hurts my soul a little.

For Perkins and Amy: [link]

Happy birthday, Suzi!

Perkins, is your gas cap seated properly? The check engine light will come on if it isn't (and it could've let some moisture in the tank).

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

sarameg, I *love* your earring rack! How long is it? Did you buy it as an earring rack? Or was it amended from something else?

Oh, those earrings are fabulous--all three pairs. I love the blue sea glass ones, and the yellow round ones. But the sparkly starry ones are my favorites.
