That's what I've used for the past five or six years. Every once in a while I run the numbers through the H&R Block site or some other just to double check and it always comes out.
I used to do what you do shrift, with the free federal e-file and then manually filing the state taxes, but at some point I decided I seriously didn't need the hassle just to save $10 or less.

I'm pissed off at H&R Block because they let me fuck up my NYS return last year, and didn't give me anything for it, but it's so much easier to keep using them since they have all my info in their system that I probably will. Yay just one state, though!

Sarameg, I have a fairly simple return (no real estate or investment income), and my CPA charges me about $100.00. She always finds at least $100.00 worth of refund (or, one worrisome year, reduced payout) than I would, so that, plus the lack of hassle, makes going to a pro totally worth it for me. She also handled my Dad's estate return, which would have had me tearing my hair out. It ran to more like $150.00, but again, totally worth it.
