I have to go out and get supplies for the Super Bowl tomorrow. *whine*

Hubby and I have separate blankets and sheets. We settled on that very early in the relationship.
I probably need to get Superbowl supplies too. We were, in fact, invited to two separate superbowl parties, including one by a local chef who is serving sushi, but woes, I don't think we're going to either because the SO's sinus infection is still raging and he'll be wiped after being out all day today and I hate the Steelers with a fiery passion that I'm maybe not ready to let locals see.

This seems to me to be the only solution. Although I have never been able to sleep in the same place with another living creature, I did try it a few times with the Fela. On those occasions, there were two sets of everything and it worked well.
I made spinach and cauliflower lasagna for dinner. It's pretty good, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort of mashing the cauliflower and using a ton of dishes to make it. But, on the other hand, this is enough for at least six meals, so I guess that was six meals worth of effort, so it works out.
I change the sheets every two weeks (in theory, in practice it's when I get around to it, like everything else) and turn the mattress four times a year (I'm actually pretty good about that) as instructed by the manufacturer, or possibly the seller, but there were instructions that I follow.
How often do people who share a bed with someone else wind up snuggling together while sleeping? I can manage resting a hand or foot against Hubby, but the whole romantic, "lying in one another's arms" thing makes me nuts while trying to actually sleep.

Never, nada, niente. I am a mad snuggler while awake, but don't touch me when I'm trying to sleep. Luckily, DH is of the same temperament.

Well, I don't know, since I'm unconscious, but I'm guessing, based on where we are if I wake up in the middle of the night, there's no snuggling while sleeping.
The first bf I tried to sleep with was very sweet about touching in the night. Actually, just like Bartleby in a cute way I never thought of until now. He'd respect my space, but several times a night, he would rouse and look around to make sure I was there. Maybe put a hand out to touch me and then fall back to the pillow.
I don't think he was ever fully conscious but, obviously, I was.
