The first bf I tried to sleep with was very sweet about touching in the night. Actually, just like Bartleby in a cute way I never thought of until now. He'd respect my space, but several times a night, he would rouse and look around to make sure I was there. Maybe put a hand out to touch me and then fall back to the pillow.

I don't think he was ever fully conscious but, obviously, I was.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

DH was a very snuggly sleeper. It had been an issue with previous girlfriends to the point where he was really relieved that I was fine with it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Don't make me post my "spoons" poem again, people.

H has sets and sets of sheets, he likes them crisp and doesn't mind blends.

I use two identical sets of leaf-printed ridiculous thread-count cotton, because I prefer soft and smooth to crisp, and two coordating solid sets, and I mix, so I have either a solid bottom and printed top sheet, or printed bottom and solid top sheet, with one solid and one printed pillowcase for each set.

I have in the closet another three sets of mini-print and solid cream cotton, but I need pillowcases before I can use them, because two of the sets came with standard cases and my pillows are queen size. I'd love to find a print with handwriting on cream or ivory for the cases.

We change about twice a month, and rotate the mattress every three to six months.

Um, my sheet problem is less bad than my underwear problem, but ummmm.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have three sets - two regular cotton, and one flannel. I need to replace the flannel, they're pretty threadbare. I'm going to try and score some bamboo on sale, I think.

Calli and I watched Off the Map. This one wasn't too bad. And then I introduced her to the glories of Justified. Mmm, Raylon.

I have a set of maroon and green plaid flannels that I loved into tatters. Seriously, the last time I tried using the top sheet, my foot went straight through.

I've retired the pillow cases and bottom sheet to Bartleby's beds. The pillow case he's sleeping on right this minute has numerous holes.

Not sure why, but I just can't let them go. I think...oh my god...I might have purchased them when I was married. Nawwwwh. They couldn't have lasted for 20 years, could they?

I still have a couple of pink floral pillow cases that were my grandmother's...so they have to be at least 50 years old. They are softer than air and tear pretty much every time I breath on them. But so, so comfy.

I try to launder sheets every week, but it sometimes goes two. Plus any time I think I might have company over. I think I've turned the mattress two or three times since I moved here 3 years ago. (It went the previous four years with no turning, but I almost never slept on it while I had the comfy soporific couch in my living room.)

2 beech, 3 flannel, 1 t-shirt, 7 cotton sets and a few mis-matched individual cotton sheets - that's for my bed and the guest beds

1 beech, 1 flannel, 2 slippery something, 3-4 cotton sets for the two beds in mac's room.

I have some sheets that were wedding gifts to my parents, 44 years ago. I have some pillow cases that were my grandmother's. And I have at least 2 top sheets that were mine from elementary school age, so they are at least 30 years old.

Timothy Olyphant is very easy to watch in this.

I have a set of white cotton striped sheets that I wash every week. The beech sheets sound interesting, though. I have 3 or 4 other percale sets and a set of cotton flannel that are currently taking up space in my closet. I should probably give a couple of them away.
