I like Marie Callendar's chicken pot pies.

Ahrg. Foiled. 10 laps into my swim, they closed the pool because the lights lost power and it was too dark. Of course, I left work early (got in really early) and had I known this was going to happen, I would've gone up to Parkville. As it is, it is too late for me to go up there and get back in time. So I'm just frustrated.
Oh, god, Amy, those things are to die for. The only thing better are the ones in their restaurants.
Oh yeah. Marie Callendar's was the bomb when I was a kid. I can still taste their cornbread with honey-butter from memory. Those potpies were like crack to me. They also had some soups I liked.
Now I think I need to go make cornbread. I have the crockpot of chile verde for dinner and cornbread sounds like an excellent side to go with it.
There are restaurants?! I never knew.
California and Arizona I know for sure. Not sure where else they may be now.

We used to have one here in town. I thought they were a western thing.
They were in Colorado when I lived there.
The MC restaurants I visited were in California's East Bay and San Diego.
