Jesse, do you promote stuff to the queue out of order? Or delete some submissions? Or do I just have a spotty memory?
Um, I had a notion yesterday (? over the weekend?) to put things that were more "newsy" up first. A few times I've seen things linked multiple places that were in the queue for like the day after tomorrow, so I thought it might be worth doing. I don't know. Is that weird?
Also sometimes I'm afraid I'm putting stuff in the queue from the messages out of order.
Also also, the queue has been working sporadically at best, and sometimes I just get flustered when I realize there hasn't been a new post in a while...
ALLYSON! I fell down my stairs! It was awesome!
And then did you realize how much you like Mexican people after all just like Sandra Bullock did after she fell down the stairs in Crash?
This is my first thought whenever anyone falls down stairs. "Do you love Mexican people?"
Then, "Are you okay/Is anything broken/Can I help you up?"
tommyrot, I bought that coffee for my husband this Xmas! Along with a RTFM mug. I think they both cheer him.
Sadly, I've stopped drinking coffee due to tummy issues so I won't be having any of Vader's coffee anytime soon.
I wonder if Boba Fett has tea?
You don't need to drink the coffee, hon; you KNOW it's all about the bag.
Shrift, your train stop is on the list. [link]
Allyson, did you get the email I sent with a photo of a happy child holding your book?
The CTA is having a series of public meetings about the proposed changes. I think I'll go to the one tomorrow night (on Morse) and tell them not to close the Jarvis station.
From aurelia's link:
Alderman Joe Moore of Chicago's 49th Ward said he was blindsided by the fact that the CTA is even entertaining closing the Jarvis station. His ward office is located at that stop, as are stores and restaurants that have reinvigorated the area in recent years. “If that El station closed, it could very well signal the demise of the Jarvis Square business district,” said Moore.
Ooh - maybe I can meet Alderman Joe Moore.

Mofos! It's bad enough that they always go express at Wilson, now this?
To be honest, if I weren't worried about, oh,
getting shot
at the Wilson stop, I wouldn't mind the extra walk.
