Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

tommyrot, I bought that coffee for my husband this Xmas! Along with a RTFM mug. I think they both cheer him.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sadly, I've stopped drinking coffee due to tummy issues so I won't be having any of Vader's coffee anytime soon.

I wonder if Boba Fett has tea?

You don't need to drink the coffee, hon; you KNOW it's all about the bag.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Allyson, did you get the email I sent with a photo of a happy child holding your book?

The CTA is having a series of public meetings about the proposed changes. I think I'll go to the one tomorrow night (on Morse) and tell them not to close the Jarvis station.

From aurelia's link:

Alderman Joe Moore of Chicago's 49th Ward said he was blindsided by the fact that the CTA is even entertaining closing the Jarvis station. His ward office is located at that stop, as are stores and restaurants that have reinvigorated the area in recent years. “If that El station closed, it could very well signal the demise of the Jarvis Square business district,” said Moore.

Ooh - maybe I can meet Alderman Joe Moore.

Mofos! It's bad enough that they always go express at Wilson, now this?

To be honest, if I weren't worried about, oh, getting shot at the Wilson stop, I wouldn't mind the extra walk.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hey Aurelia, I didn't! I can' access it!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why do they say you can't con an honest person? I mean, you sure can swindle or cheat one. Why is that not conning them? Is it semantics?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sort of. The idea is if they weren't trying to get something for nothing, they wouldn't bite on the con.
