Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

quester- i would think it would be ok as long as the chicken still gets cooked long enough and hot enough...but then i haven't eaten meat in over 20 years so perhaps not the BEST authority on such matters.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

CI buttermilk pancakes, bon?

Light and fluffy, from ABR. They do involve adding lemon to milk to sour milk.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Possibly inspired by watching more episodes of Hoarders, I have been very productive today. Laundry, dishes, some dusting, sweeping, filing, decluttering, tried on a bunch of pants and realized I can wear some of them again, did a quick sewing fix on a cardigan, and fixed a broken necklace.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Well, it was sealed in the pot for the 2 hours and I am cooking it on High for about 4 hours. I hope it will be ok.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I'm stuck on an older version. My fluffy CI pancakes are explicitly buttermilk.

Baking soda doesn't go bad, does it? Because that's possibly part of the leavening issue.

I'm watching Palladia, and there's a video by this group Mgmt (I think) called Kids, and they're tormenting a toddler in it. The kid is fucking terrfied, and there are all these people in monster costumes grabbing at him. I don't get how people let that happen. Make that happen.

The band members also look like tossers.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Will it be okay to cook the chicken?

Yes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Exactly my reaction. That video appalls me.

I couldn't finish watching it. Hysterical toddlers are not entertainment.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Baking soda doesn't go bad, does it?

I think it eventually loses potency. But I don't bake a ton, so I'll have the same can for years.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Baking soda doesn't go bad, does it? Because that's possibly part of the leavening issue.

It can lose effectiveness but it takes a long time, iirc. There's a simple test to see if it's still good, if I can remember it or find it again...
