My best friend growing up was named Xochiquetzal, but she went by Xochi (So-Chee). She is the ONLY person who can get away with calling me Sue. We used to be Sue and So.
typing tests! really? I hate job hunting.
btw people sabre solutions/sabre holdings has quite a few openings nationwide. Not sure where there locations are though.
Scranton?
Much ~ma for your sister Zen. I've been there.
Typing tests? Seriously? Craxy.
In the office today. Will see how long I last. My last coughing fit was pretty bad but at least the nose seems to be under control.
yeah, and I never learned to type. How often do people really have admins type up something from a handwritten copy? REALLY?!?!?
If I am typing from my head the speed is completely different than from copying a document.
IOW, I will fail a typing test. OR, I will start practicing with some online thingy and get my speed up.
I can't imagine what I would get on a typing test. I took typing in eighth grade and never really got it right.
I joined twitter yesterday and today - it pays off - the NWF posted 10 things you may not know about groundhogs.
msbelle - there's an online game caller typer shark (or something like that) that one of my dispatch coaches had me play during down time to improve typing speed and accuracy for things like numbers and punctuation and random capitalization (i.e. not typing what you are thinking - at which i am fantastic). It was helpful and less onerous than the typing tests for temp agencies. I did some of those and the things that tripped me up were always random capitalization of numbers.
eta: i'd post a link, but since our internet "upgrades" i can no longer access online games. thpppppppt.
