Coffee:
So I just took two hours to write detailed, thoughtful newsletter-type emails to my students’ parents, which I do once per quarter to give them a sense of what we are talking about in class and what we will be studying. I’m very proud of these newsletters and have gotten a lot of great feedback on them.
But I’m craxy. So rather than breathing a sigh of relief and going to bed, I’m obsessively refreshing my mail to see if any parent has responded. At 10pm.

Seriously, I’m not right.
Those rugby players, OTOH? Very right. Nom nom nom.
What? I lurk with purpose.
Thank you, love.
Pete is taking good care of me. As is Cass, who came up here last night. We are watching the RJD Sherlock Holmes, I am doing some sewing, and only succumbing to random bouts of worry and crying.
I'm also distracting myself with window shopping. I suspect a shopping spree of over-the-top gothy clothes from manufacturers in Hong Kong is in my future.
Good. Glad to hear Pete is looking after you. And yay for Buffista love.
Ah, that's so nice that Cass came up. I am really sorry about your mom, Jilli.
Jilli, I'm still sending the ~ma for your mom, and some for you.
There's nothing like tossing and turning and finally opening your eyes to find out it's 2:37.
I am going to be fresh as a daisy for this wedding...
Go team Cass! Go team adorable! Go team Reason!
I'm glad you're being well cared for, Jilli. Much continuing ~ma for your mom and you.
More ~ma headed your way from San Francisco. I'm glad you've got such good people loving and cosseting you.
My only snow grocery wish item is wheat flour, because I made a loaf of bread that was FAIL. My success rate is much lower on wheat for some reason. Everything else I`m still pretty good on.
I attempted to use a buckwheat and spelt flour mix to make bread yesterday. It came out looking like badly-risen flapjack. Possibly more yeast next time.
Much ongoing ~ma, Jilli.
