zuisa, what style of non-strapless formal? Could you wear one with narrow straps and wear a shrug of some sort over it?

So far today I've researched what I need to do to renew my passport, eaten lunch, removed a shelf and some random things hanging on a bedroom wall, measured the wall and busted out some tools to hang my Gotham print, and replaced a bunch of burned-out light bulbs in the ceiling. Now I'm going to declutter some more, finish cleaning the bathroom, and take out the garbage.
zuisa, I'm sorry you are feeling so unhappy about your body and your clothes. That is an unhappiness I know well.
Does it have to be long-sleeve, zuisa, or just not sleeveless? Do short sleeves count?
I like this one in aqua
Sadly, this one is only available in XS.
If I had $200 to spare and a place to wear this [link] I would so nab it for myself. It's got straps that look about an inch wide, and while flattering to the girls, not particularly cleavage-alicious.
ETA: [link] black lace bolero to give more sassy coverage.
Still attempting to organize my yarn. Need to take a break. Surrounded by yarn, lots and lots of yarn.
I need a whole array of formal dresses for my new job, they are the only part of my uniform not provided. None can be strapless, but thin straps are fine. At least one has to be both floor-length and black, and the others can be whatever, but need to be at least knee-length, no shorter.
This is proving difficult, because from what I've seen at stores, the non-strapless floor length ones scream ADULT, and I realize I *am* an adult, but I'm 24 want to still look it. I'm also short, which makes things fun, and am sort tiny-chested so dresses just sort of hang there. Besides the one I bought in China, which is a qipao so therefore not entirely practical, I only own one dress, and it's both too short and strapless, but I basically adore it and I'm so sad I can't bring it!!

I was not aware! Hooray!
The dresses you guys linked are pretty! But I also guess I had NO idea how expensive dresses were. It hadn't occurred to me yet to look online (I have no idea why!)
zuisa, If you don't mind telling us a size, we can probably have you outfitted by this evening.
I ated some protein and am feeling more human.
