Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Skipping a bit (still in the "Yay baby Aeryn!" news glow) because according to Pix "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jan 5, 2010 8:47:30 pm PST today is ND's and Pix's first anniversary.

Happy day to the both of them! With lots of wishes for a wonderful year together!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Happy Anniversary to the PixDesigns!

The Best Singalong Ever was the perfect start to my morning.

hip deep in pie

Happy Anniversary to Pix and ND!

Nothing-Ma to Kate.

Between my serious inability to get to bed before midnight and the cats' tendency to frolic in my room when I am trying to sleep, I'm really not getting enough sleep. Gah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I woke up early and crampy and bleh. Bleh!

Don't you know (know!) things'll change (change!), things'll go your way.... if you hoooooold on for one more day!

evil.

I forgot that I had turned off mac's alarm, so we both got an extra 30 min of sleep. not bad, really, but a little rushed this morning.

Librarian Warlord

I am finally back at work, but my DH's parting words this morning were, "I think I'm getting the flu," so every time the phone rings I'm wondering if he's calling me to hightail it back home.

Happy Anniversary, Pix & ND!

people who do martial arts/boxing - anyone used a water bag instead of traditional heavy bag?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

msbelle: Coquette, Dominique, Bayona. The first 2 are on Magazine, and the 3rd is in the Quarter, and fancier than the other 2. All the usual suspects look good too- though August is definitely fancy. Brigtsen's and Cochon are excellent. Link's other restaurant Herbsaint is good too.

Man, I'm hungry now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't like water bags as much, but that's because the ones I've used were ground-standing, and I prefer hanging.
