Now I'm wondering if it would help if I made up a chore chart and gave myself gold stars.

Ginger, I've done similar and yes, it helped. I should do that again.
Whoo! And not a moment too soon. It's nippy out there! But I don't need to stoke the fire now because I am all steamy. The phoebes who were roosting in the woodshed sat on the fencepost and scolded me for lowering the level of their perch. Sorry phoebes! Isn't it enough that we don't use our speakers all spring because you nest on them?
I am mailing them to you because I can't stand the thought of tossing them.
Yay! Thank you! Our plan for next year is to have a live tree we can plant in the yard.
Firewood: It is Hauled!
Right the fuck on!
Three Shiny Gold Stars for you!
I'm saving this one for Jesse and this one for amych.
Dang, my pie is smelling good.
Actually, it's not my pie. It's JZ's pie. She's putting together Matilda's bed and deserves a pie.
Apparently I needed to sleep. A lot. Then I walked to the co-op and got us some more groceries (OT#1); soon it will be bath for HKF (semi-OT). Then, likely, more sleep.
I second birthday mulligan for Shrift.
Progress:
1) figure out how much my old roomie owes me for bills
2) Read and summarize some stuff for work, then forward it on
3) Check bank account (scary!)
4) Pay credit card (and gas and water)
5) Enter flex stuff for reimbursement
I like Jesse's gold star!
I did some travel rebooking (one more thing to do), went to the drugstore, the post office (paying bills), and the bank.
...still feel like crap. Grrr.
Yay gold stars!
Gold stars never thrilled me. I think I may pre-date getting gold stars in school for doing things I was supposed to. And I had to go to school uphill both ways (which is true in elementary school, because I lived on the other side of a small hill from the school a quarter-mile away. And sometimes it snowed, and I wore snow pants and walked it anyway, so there.)
