No. And yes. It's always sudden.

I like Jesse's gold star!

I did some travel rebooking (one more thing to do), went to the drugstore, the post office (paying bills), and the bank.

...still feel like crap. Grrr.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay gold stars!

Gold stars never thrilled me. I think I may pre-date getting gold stars in school for doing things I was supposed to. And I had to go to school uphill both ways (which is true in elementary school, because I lived on the other side of a small hill from the school a quarter-mile away. And sometimes it snowed, and I wore snow pants and walked it anyway, so there.)

Oh, yeah. Today just took another nose dive. If this happens again (vet sent something, roommate now weeping), I'm committing obstruction of correspondence.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Happy birthday, shrift!

I am another person who wants gold stars for doing annoying chores that I have to do anyway. But hey! In the spirit of unofficial onerous task day: cleared out the fridge, did dishes, and took down the Christmas tree. Tomorrow will be about emailing people at the vendor agency.

Our wings are not tired.

I ate party leftovers (smoked salmon, Jarlsburg, baguette) and watched 4 episodes of Arrested Development. It's been literally years since I was this lazy. It's weird. Does anyone else have to force themselves into laze?

Art Crawl!!!

Spaniels: bred to flush upland game. Unless they are water spaniels - in which case you expect them to retrieve water fowl.

Even Cockers were originally bred to hunt (and some still do.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I paid my bills for the coming week and took the cat to the vet and was totally planning on joining y'all's productivity after lunch, but I fell asleep instead. I'm pleased the productivity continued while I slept, I think.

Eta: Ugh, shrift. I wish today was treating you better.

Punishingly Intricate

My onerousish tasks done today were: checked and responded to work email all day even though we were off, wrote thank you cards (although I am Very grateful to have thank you cards to write!), put laundry away, and went to yoga class of teacher I am afraid of. She's a good teacher but very hard!

Then I came home and ate some corn chowder made by Bob! That was not onerous at all.
