I brush my teeth while the conditioner soaks in during my shower.
I do nothing to my hair other than comb through some goop and blowdry my bangs (which I'm growing out) out of my face.
Used to take 10 minutes to do eyebrows but since the tatt it's 0 seconds.
make-up is mineral foundation and blush.
My morning routine mostly involves looking for my socks.
I also tend to wake up 10 minutes before leaving the house.
I'm one of those people who can be out the door in about 20 minutes if I need to, but I'd rather get up early and let myself wake up for an hour or so before I have to drive, or talk to people.
Of course, most days, no makeup. I do not use shampoo. I do not shower in the morning. I also have long hair that I may or may not bother to brush.
I am with Perkins. I take at least an hour "getting ready", but I could be ready in about 10 minutes if I hurried. I like to make coffee, read the internets, feed the cat, etc, etc.
I can't be the only one who spends 30+ minutes in bed with her iPhone catching up on teh interwebs before even getting out of bed...?
I am not sure I could read the iphone that early.
I go to the couch, where the laptop is.
ITA agree that it takes more time for a woman than a man to get ready (generally) but if she's been doing all this stuff for years, it should take her not nearly as long. If she has some high-maintenance hair, she should get a different style or stop bitching.
Also, WTF is she exfoliating, treating and putting serum on in the morning? Treatments go one at night. And she needs to stop curling her lashes if she's that bad at it.
I may be too bitchy, but dude, all that stuff either (a) isn't necessary and (b) doesn't take that long. Who cleans their jewelry every night? It doesn't take that long to look polished, unless one she's some kind of power lawyer on TV a lot. Is she?
I like to chill out in the morning -- read the paper, eat breakfast. I also do yoga two weekday mornings. I shower, wash and blow-dry my hair (well my bangs) every other day, don't wear makeup to work. Sometimes it takes me a while to get dressed because I don't have enough clothes I love.
