I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

Pesto Turkey Breast is going to be a Thanksgiving staple -it's super easy- Make (or i guess buy) pesto , shove it under the skin, smear it around, cover and cook 1 1/2 hours then uncover and cook the last half hour.

And it's stayed super moist, I had leftovers that weren't dried out.

So Mom and I went and did some shopping today, unfortunately nothing fun the fridge has to be replaced. So far there's only 1 contender but Mom is looking for a better price.

She did talk to her sister (who is G'ma's caretaker) and told her about the fridge. Then after a while my aunt called back and said "after a long talk with Mother, she wants to pay for your plane ticket since you have to buy a fridge"

Mom was like "long talk, huh?" But my aunt feels (and I feel) that if she could have a talk with G'ma that's what she would want.

edited Mom is flying up to see her Mother and my Aunt next week. G'ma is still hanging in but it's obvious that she is in the "transitional" stage and she's in a lot of pain. At this point I'm hoping Mom will get up there for the funeral just because I don't want G'ma to suffer any more.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, askye. What a tough time for your family. Much transitional~ma for your G'ma. And lots of peace~ma for the rest of the family. {{{{{{askye}}}}}}

meara, I'm so glad your food-borne illness worries are over, and glad to have been some use.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

skim skimmity skim skimmity....i am in florida. The Villags, to be specific. If it strange, like summer camp for old people. If you happen to be having a nice brisk walk down a sidewalk, everyone waves at you from passing golf carts. and they have separate garages for the golf carts. i fear mom has drunk the kool aid and is thinking of retiring here. that makes me sad, but also means winter visits would be very warm indeed.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Some of my mom's friends live at The Villages. My mom likes going to visit them, and she kind of wants to retire there, but my father really doesn't.

edited because I do understand subject-verb agreement.

I am TOTALLY looking forward to retirement, are you kidding me? It's the first time since college you're surrounded by people your age, you've got tons of free time, there are all kinds of classes and fun shit to do aimed at you...it'll be awesome! Assuming I'm in any shape to enjoy it.

What others have said (though I prefer it as dressing rather than stuffing). And I'm sure you'd be happy to take my share of something else.
