oh no, ChiKat! Financial future~ma for your district.
sj, I know you'll figure something out.
We went out to a tapas place downtown called Rambla to celebrate Tom's promotion.
Hey, remember when I had the energy to blog? Man, I miss being unemployed. Except for needing the money to live and stuff, this working thing is for suckers. I do like the job still, but it is pretty freaking draining.

Happy birthday, Ginger!
Woot Barb! Congrats!
Um. There was more. But long day. Good day. But tired. And since I only get paid once a month now, I look at money things once a month now, and today is that day. It looks like in one month, if I keep spending down, I will have my visa card paid off! Can not wait!
Also, in 14 more days, I will no longer be a Probationary Employee, but a full employee of the State of CA. :: crosses fingers they don't let me go in the next two weeks ::
I love the signs, WindSparrow. Especially "I'm pretty sure God hates us too" and "Use your inside voice".
Wishing you less stress, Spidra.
Wedding-planning~ma to sj and lisah! sj, I hope the invitations get sorted quickly.
We're a bit deflated about our wedding and considering postponing (again) while The Girl's father is so ill. We can't get interested in planning (and it's not like we're the types to enjoy big parties anyway). Meh.
Pete the cat escaped this morning before I left for work. Ordinarily I'd stay home and wait for her to come back, but I have a very important meeting this morning with a guy who's in the city once a month. I'm going home straight after, but I still feel horrible and am asuming that she'll be horribly injured/dead by the time I get home.
I am such a bad cat mum.
Seska, I'm sorry that The Girl's father is in such poor health, and I'm sorry that you are having to postpone your wedding.
Jars, it's not your fault. I tell my cats, I have to go to work so I can buy cat food. We can only do the best that we can do. Still, sending a little bit of safety~ma for Pete.
She's fine! I'd left a window cracked in case she decided to come back, and when I got home she was napping in the middle of our bed, the little bitch. If she wasn't so adorable she'd be in serious trouble.
