Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
cool, thanks.
We had dinner with both sets of TCG's parents this weekend. Both are not happy about not being able to come to the elopement. Now can we have a real weekend?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH WHY WON'T MY KID JUST FUCKING POOP WHEN HE HAS TO POOP!!!!??????
t /seriously unable to cope with this any more
Does Miralax have a flavor? The pediatric version is "fruit punch" flavored, which is (a) nasty and (b) impossible to sneak into a cup of milk or OJ. (Little Tummy's makes a chocolate-drops children's laxitive, but it's a stimulant rather than a softener, and so not safe to give every day.)
Jessica, have you tried mineral oil? My cousin used to slip that in a milk shake for her kid.
(Apologies to the non-parents in this thread. I do so envy those of you who have lives outside of bowel movements.)
Mineral oil is not recommended for kids under 12 without a doctor's supervision.
Jessica. Prunes. Seriously. Prune juice. Quartered prunes. We have been there.
Also, raisins, also fresh fruit he really loves in large quantities.... Also been there.
Short of fois-gras style force feeding, prune juice has been a no-go for us.
We're already doing oatmeal with dried fruit every morning for breakfast, and Fiber Gummies at dinnertime. The problem isn't fiber, it's willpower.
