Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I've got $ in the bank so I can pull out $ as I need it. It's just inconvenient. A trip is a great time to run up credit card points and I hope that if I run up enough I might be able to pay for tix to visit a friend in the UK. No card = no points.

However, WF was pro about it all. They're rushing the card to my cousin's and hopefully I'll get it by Friday. In the meantime I'm an all cash girl (which I'm pretty used to since I refused to even get a credit card until I was 41).

Thanks for the suggestion, though, Typo Boy!

I feel pretty weird and I guess it's just the depression. I've been looking forward to this trip for a while. I've been pretty unhappy since moving to LA and miss the Bay Area LOADS. Yet I'm not packed, I'm not motivated to do all the planning and preparing I should. I'm not acting like I'm raring to go. When I am.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, I do the same thing, Spidra. Even if I want to go on a trip, I fret and procrastinate on packing until the very last moment. Mainly because I'm stressing about *exactly* the right things to pack.

All is well that ends in pizza.

We will see more bald eagles tomorrow, when we visit the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN...

brillig

I saw a bald eagle flying over town a couple of weeks ago. Very cool. I wished it many rodents.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay bald eagles! That`s all I got, really, because I am wiped. Oh, I got to show people a condor at the Grand Canyon. It`s one of my favorite things to do, but nobody is ever as impressed as me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Bald eagles are amazing creatures.

Yay Jilli on the all clear. That reminds me, I need to make a mammo appointment myself. Been procrastinating on that one a bit.

I'm sitting here, not any more packed, when I should be packed and going to bed for an early morning wakeup.

Had another infantilizing interaction with my mom and it's just got me wanting to give up precisely when I need my fight most. I'll never manage to get out of here (by which I mean the situation of having to live with my parents and 2 younger siblings) if the depression just demotivates me like this.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

{{{Spidra}}} Have a good trip - I hope it takes your mind off things so you can relax and, if you need to, think clearly.

Thanks, Seska. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it. I just would have enjoyed it more if I'd found where my air mattress pump is, etc. :)

I hope your day goes well!
