Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hil, send me your address and I can see if my local IKEA has them. I need to replace a plant anyway. I won't even attempt to go there over the weekend but next week I can.

Fo, lo, those cards come in a totally flat pack that has cardboard in it. I can toss them in an envelope and mail them sans ever seeing people or a Post Office. They are mailboxable.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I really really really want to watch season 2 of Veronica Mars. But Joe is not home. And that would be mean of me to do.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Pix and ND: I really hope the resolution is quick and easy and takes care of everything! All kinds of ~ma!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Do you know if I can use Gold Bond powder at the same time as a prescription antifungal (econazole nitrite)?

That should be no problem.

Course now the rest of the house looks like shit, but that will be fixed next week.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

We do not honor objects, or our memories of them, but having them hidden. That was so important for me to understand.
Oooo! I like that! It will work with some of Mom's crap. Alas, she is known for saving weekly fliers, "to compare price trends". @@.

ION - I did a picture test on OKcupid. They show your pictures and other folks pictures to a bunch of people, and see who does and doesn't pic your picture. It seems my pictures have a negative impact on women. The majority of them were not picked. It seems the pics of me with other women had the most negative reaction. I need new pics of me. I hate pics of me. And don't have a lot of them. Uggg.

eta: removed link to test results, as it has been deleted, and started new test with new pics on profile.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Yeah, I used to give het guys advice on what pics to post on personals sites. Not having pictures of other women with you (unless you're in a big group) was definitely on the "do not" list. Also don't have your only pic be of you wearing sunglasses. Also, use a nice close-up picture instead of having a picture of a landscape with teeny you in it. I should see if I still have that post hanging around somewhere.

I hate having to think about personals profiles, though. I rewrote my OKCupid one lately but I don't hold out much hope. The best personals site I ever did was Nerve.com before it got bought up by Spring Street Networks.
