Congratulations on what looks like a fantastic new school Matilda, JZ & Hec!
I am back, in surprisingly little pain (achy jaw, but seriously? this dentist is made of magic beans), and have to go back in two weeks. boo. but - this dentist? I will go back to. My first non-sadistic dentist. what a freaking difference.
Going back to sleep now.
ETA: Matilda is not Emeline. The beans made me do it.
That's one thing Gavin got right, and the locals backed him. It's something that provides a huge material benefit for all the parents in the city.
Actually, to be a fucking socialist for a moment, the PFA initiative benefits everyone in the city. Parents have more flexibility in their pocketbook and in their timebank, and future generations are getting more education, which is always a net good.

Heh, I have been remarkably injury-free lately, but get a little sleep in me...
In the last 24 hours, I stepped on a tack cleaning my closet (it bled a LOT!), sliced my palm getting the recycled broken glass in the car, and got a small cut on my finger bringing in groceries.
Being responsible is dangerous, y'all!

::moves Erin's symbolic horse - a saucy Palamino - up a notch on the racetrack::
Juliana--don't know if you saw my posts, but we just got back form a 1400 mile motorcycle trip through Northern California. So many great motorcycle roads around your neck of the woods and I thought of you when we were driving through Big Sur.
I'm sorry Ginger and Erin. [pushes bubblewrap toward each of them through the interpipes]

expires of envy
I did not, but man, that sounds awesome!!
I'm nowhere near Erin & Ginger, but I did have my feet go out from under me on a wet ramp this morning.
Luckily, my posterior is currently well padded.

::Barb is now in the running. Currently, Ginger's in first going into the first turn, Erin is closing, Barb has moved up to third, and Hil is in dead last with no self injuries reported::
Worst I got today was a splinter and a pulled muscle in my shoulder. And I even used power tools! (Well, an electric screwdriver powered by AA batteries. Finishing up an armoire that's taken several weeks to put together because I couldn't get the last few screws in with a manual screwdriver.)
