University City. Next to back end of Miramar. And I think I interpreted "emailed me at 11:30" to mean they'd just been repowered which is clearly ridiculous. Probably early early a.m. for them too.
Yeah, I'm Mira Mesa. Not too likely that there'd be a big gap between. I would have been jealous - power on at 1:30 meant facility was open at 6:00 (not when I come in of course, but the facility was open), I wanted another long weekend.
My sister in Carlsbad Facebooked that hers was back about ten fifteen last night.
I heard it was starting in the North and working its way down.
Not that I'd checked upon her. Bad sibling!
When did you hear? My friend and I were surprised at how many waves this whole thing DIDN'T make. Just too much going on this week for a little darkness to make the news, I guess.
I realized how bad my rep was when she mailed those to me.
It's impressive, really.
Oh, Maria-- I am so, so sorry, sorella. I cannot even begin to imagine what or how you must be feeling. Know that you have all my thoughts and coping ~ma.
{{{{Maria and DH}}}} I am so sorry. I have no idea what to say.
When did you hear?
About five? Honestly I saw on the NY Times. Talked to my mom around six but she was in the middle of the desert driving to a meeting so she didn't even know if her area was affected.
I am shocked at how little of a story it was too. The East Coast lost power eight years ago and it was top story... This happened and I couldn't find news most places. Which might be perception on my part but it was weird. Especially since it wasn't a particularly balmy day from what I saw.
Oh, Maria, I am so so sorry. We are here for you.
dammit. I was hoping for some good news, Maria. I'm really sorry.
Thanks, everyone. I don't know what to say either. I'm so far beyond numb it's scary.
Oh, no, sorella. We love you. We're here for you. You're allowed to be numb. You can react any way you need to or no way at all.
Maria, I am so very sorry.
