Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That bitch needs an eviction notice ASAP.

I need to figure out how to serve it. I finally fell asleep sometime around 2 and was surprised to find myself awake again at 5:30.

Hey, all! School is back in full swing. I'm still trying to figure out who is in my classes. I've had 26 adds and 11 drops in the past 4 days. Making it hard to actually, you know, teach.

Wow, that sounds confusing. I hope things settle down soon. Good luck with the new school year!

I was supposed to be babysitting today but I wasn't needed after all. So, now I need to decide whether I should try to get some more sleep or be productive in some way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh my god, I am made entirely of gronk.

Hey ChiKat!

I love my Bitches. You are the best!!

meara, I definitely want to do Queerlesque and probably the parade. Not sure what else I want to do - that may be all I can handle, I am already low on sleep this week and my laundry pile is reaching Defcon 1 status.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I believe a nap is in order for later today. Or will that make sleeping tonite harder?

On my second cup of coffee and may need a 3rd. Too bad I can't get one.

That is the question. I've been playing around with insomnia for about a month now, not sleeping much for various night, sleeping in too late some mornings, taking naps etc. I really need to break the cycle, so I might just push through today and hope for the best tonight.

That's what I usually end up doing. I get bouts of insomnia and usually end up having a night where I don't sleep at all and push through till the next night just to push my body into sleeping. It sucks.

I have been looking at train schedules for the UK all morning trying to plan our trip. It's starting to make me a little crazy trying to figure out how to fit in everything. Someone distract me so that I don't go take a nap.

sj, I am your sister in insomnia. Was up until 4, slept until 6 when I had to get the youngest up and out to school, and I haven't been back to sleep. Stupid brain!

Where are you going in the UK? I've only ever traveled by train from the North to Scotland and then down to London. It is a great way to travel.

I give you credit for being able to deal with a child on no sleep.

Everywhere! We're going to stay in London for several days and do some day trips from there. Visit a couple of friends in Bath. Spend at least a day in London. Visit Seska and her DW. Day trip to Stratford on Avon, and then head North to Bronte Country and end up in Scotland for a couple of days. I'm beginning to think it is an insane plan.
