Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

IOmeN, I've been fed yummy Mexican w/PNW flair (sockeye salmon on a quinoa corn cake with a jicama/red onion slaw) and an even yummier Patrón margarita.

Only one? After the stress from the travel agent fuck up you deserve at least 2 margaritas.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Mmmmm, Patrón. Although, I gotta admit, I really like Cabo Wabo, too. I didn't want to like it, because I hate celebrity-hawked stuff, but it is damn good tequila.

“Not dead yet!”

I fully intended to have two, but between the stress, getting up at five this morning, and the fact that Cactus makes their margaritas rather deliciously potent, I was buzzing beautifully after just one (and it took me three tries to spell beautifully, if that tells you anything...). One more and I would've face-planted into the salmon.

Note to self: Next time you are in Seattle, go to Cactus.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

We had a presentation today about all the neat new tech features that go along with the new textbook we're using. The answer to every "Does that work on an iPad?" question was, "We're working on it. It will, eventually."

Nope. It looks interesting, though.

It mocks things like a culture of excellence.

eta: Whenever they have a meeting and are asked to contribute their ideas for something like promoting a culture of excellence, one character always answers: "1.Optimize potential. 2.Facilitate empowerment 3. Implement visioning 4.Strategize priorities 5. Augment core structures."
