[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Seska, I don't even know where to start. I'm glad you are ok. I wish we humans were beyond that sort of thing.

Sail, I'm glad you are ok, and more importantly, that the rhubarb crumble turned out. I'm rather fond of the "start with the mundane, escalate to the fantastic/amazing/terrifying, then conclude with everything's ok" method of story-telling. As my mother used to say, "You know something's wrong when they start out 'Now, dear, everything is going to be ok'".

Best of interview~ma, smonster.

Barb, you are amazing.

So, apparently the fix for stiff necks is lifting adult human beings for a shift.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The iron, eh. Cold shoulder

You do know you have to get the iron HOT to use it, right?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Seska, good to hear from you! And I'll have to check out the riot cleanup tweets.

So, apparently the fix for stiff necks is lifting adult human beings for a shift.

Umm, yay?

I just got up and am realizing StW has already been taking his boards for almost an hour. Only nine more to go!!

DON'T PANIC!

The rhubarb crumble is even better reheated in the morning.

Seska, I'm glad you're in an area safe from the riots; that's some scarey shit. Even if you aren't a target of violence, there's always collateral damage.

Good luck to all three of you! When's your interview?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sail, I'm glad you were able to get home safely.

Seska, I was thinking of you this morning. Stay safe~ma for you and yours.

Smonster, interview~ma to you and boards~ma to StW.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Interview luck!

I have been having a HORRIBLE flare-up of the ol' IBS. I haven't had a real problem with it in over a year, so I don't know whence this originated. (Uh, except for possibly eating too much gluten. Shut up.) Sunday night (rather, Monday 4 a.m.) I thought maybe my appendix had burst. But no, just IBS.

I'm having a devil of a time trying to get it under control, and I just want to stab my innards.

So I worked at home yesterday b/c of the IBS pain, and I came in to work this morning only to find out that they had a power surge/outage yesterday and everyone went home at 2. But the kicker is that my monitor is fried. I'd like to parlay this into a whole new computer, but I suspect that I'll just be getting a new monitor. (My boss works at home 2 days a week, and today is one of her home days, so Chatty took her monitor and connected it to my computer so I could actually get some work done.)

If anyone could have been arsed to, I don't know, CALL ME AND TELL ME about this, I would have just brought the laptop to work today. ISTG, I work with people who FEAR being proactive. It makes me ragey.

Narf.

Interview~ma, smonster, and for you roommate, too! And boards~ma to StW.

Boy, it's nice to see things going in a positive direction for a change. Minus Teps guts. I will think positive of them, too, though, because really, guts, behave!
