Holy eff, ya'll. Got the carpets cleaned this morning and wow do they ever look fantastic!! I wish they weren't white, but oh well. I can't wait til Joe gets home tonight and can help me in the Massive Rearrange I have planned.
I'm starting to get tired of this place and I have found in places past that if I do a major overhaul of the furniture arrangement and such, it staves off the nomad in me for a little bit longer. Sometimes I feel strange that I like moving so much, but I just get tired of looking at the same walls and the same stuff in the same places. Drives me nuts.
So, this is the official word on the funnel cloud I saw last night: [link]
OK, Police called, Locksmith called, Neighbors informed, Realtor informed, and Housecleaner informed and requested to double check the windows being locked. Property Manager will file a report with the local police.
(Breathing a little easier now)
Oh, yay, Nora. Let's hope she disappears back into the woodwork quickly.
No shit, Sail. Nora, I hope your Crxy Tenant stress is over in like, a day.
Send the next check certified, if you have to send a second one. Stupid beeyotch. (NOT YOU!!!)

Oh, thank goodness, Nora. I hate to think of you stressing yourself out so majorly over someone else's craxy.
Seska! Good to see your pixels and glad you and the Girl are okay. Just so so sorry that your old stomping grounds are taking such a beating. Humans... what can you do?
Seska, really glad you and The Girl are okay. I paniced a little before I remembered you'd moved out of London, but still. Residual worry.
Interview~ma, smonster, and for you roommate, too! And boards~ma to StW.
Echoing Sail!
Nora, I hope Crazy Tenant is out of your life for good very soon. Sounds like you covered all the bases.
Aims, did you have to move furniture for the carper cleaners? My carpet seriously needs cleaning, actually it needs replacing, but I am loathe to move all this heavy furniture.
I'm disappointed to hear Diana Nyad stopped her swim. Did anyone learn how close she got?
Don't be sad, Laga. She's not.
