Just tryin' a little spicy talk.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Much skipping to share our sick sense of humour at work. FYI sent to every calltaker, referencing a situation where traffic lights are out in all directions...: "per another caller it's a drunk transient directing traffic, so i'm sure we'll be getting a ped struck call any minute"

And laughter breaks out throughout the room. Yeah, we might a little sick in da noggins.

IoN: i love reading the awesome swoony relationship stories. gives me hope, they do. I am currently chatting with no less than 8 prospectives on okcupid (can i keep them straight? no. I ck profiles immediately before first F2F meeting to refresh memory) one of whom is Russian (and currently IN RUSSIA until Sept) and a ballroom dancer? Seriously , i couldn't make this stuff up.

~ma to thems who needs it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just had fabulous Indian food, but I ate way too much of it. I got the buffet, and every few minutes, the the waiter would come up to my table and put a plate of some sort of chaat down and say, "This comes with the buffet." After a while, I started thinking, "Crap, I didn't look at the price, with all this stuff, it's going to be like $25," but it turned out to just be $13. And it was all really good, but I tried everything, and now my stomach hurts.

Compassionately intolerant

My friend's CSA delivered to me tomatillos, with which I have never cooked.

I made a chicken chili and had it over quinoa steamed with basil.

Conclusion: YUM.

brillig

And I have the money to send you which I will do on Monday. Sorry it took so long--I suck.

And I went "she owes me money . . .? Oh! That!" So it's all cool.

Note to self--just because you're on insulin now is no excuse to go pig out on naan. No matter how good naan is. Though it would make the rare naan indulgence less bad. Why is bread and bread-like objects so good?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

staff of life and all that. stoopid bread.

I love tomatillos in a winter vegetable soup.

Oh hell yeah. Always. And about the Russian? They are badass ballroom dancers, as anyone who watches SYTYCD can testify.

Roomie and I made dinner together, yay. Pretty tasty, and lots of leftovers.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Why is bread and bread-like objects so good?

I need a recipe for gluten-free naan.

And the motivation to make same.

Thrive to spite them

I spent the day with Will today, or part of it. We went exploring, drove down a country road and ran into the Canadian border.

The trip started with Will saying "There's this antique store I've been by I want to go in." And so we went. It's a large, 20 room, four story (I think it's four story) pink house.

And the only way to describe it is like someone from Hoarders (who doesn't have issues with trash and food). It is seriously packed. There was 1 room of books I couldn't get to because of the foot wide barrier of stuff between it. Another closet had kitchen stuff piled up and falling over about chest high.

The owner said it was 60 years of collecting on sale and I believe it. It's overwhelming and amazing and just. There were other people there who'd never been before and everyone was a little overwhelmed.

askye, I forget where you said Will lives, but some time you two should go check out the Bread and Puppet "museum". It's in Glover.

He's in Addison County but we've driven all over the state, except the NE Kingdom, that's still on our list of places to go. I'll add the Bread and Puppet to the list of places to visit.

I saw The Alchemist was voted Best Brewpub Outside Chitteden County! So congrats to them. We haven't been back but I really want to because we've had a run of mediocre to bad dining experiences and The Alchemist has been one of the highlights.
