Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

'Underneath'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

HAPPY MIRACLNNIVERSAY! WOO!

BTW, I appreciate all the input and advice from last night. Most of my legal knowledge has to do with domestic violence law and with medieval consanguinity laws -- not applicable or helpful!

Nonian, we need to write our will, too. We have already agreed that M gets his insurance monies, minus funeral and unpaid medical expenses and other debts, and I get the house, which I am totally supportive of, even tho M would get the bulk of the $.

I don't have an life insurance policy right now. Sigh. Another thing to add to the list. I don't want D to be liable for any unpaid student loans or medical bills if I drop dead in 5 years or something.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Happy anniversary!

I'm currently at a Denny's in western PA, where I stopped for lunch on my way to Columbus, which is where I'm stopping on my way to Lexington. States are really big when you leave the northeast.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

FWIW, Federal student loans discharge if you die.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"if you die" - I like Brenda's optimism.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Or maybe she is imagining a zombie future?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd hope they discharge if you undie. I mean, that's just not fair. It's not like you really have ways of generating income then, you know?

Trust my rage

A lawyer once told me that Federal student loans also discharge at age 65. His goal was to make it to 65 without paying them back.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I didn't think medical bills passed to next of kin, although I'm not sure where I got that idea.
