Don't I get a cookie?

Spike ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

According to some old gardening lore I once heard, tomatatoes like sulfur, and you should bury a paper match near the roots. I've not tried this personally.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Erin, tomatoes sometimes need extra calcium, or they'll get brown, rotten patches on the ends of the fruit. Some people just give them regular fertilizer and supplement with bone meal.

That can also happen if you're not watering regularly enough. Apparently they don't like the feast/famine thing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

long story short- roomie's washed and folded towel was still sitting where I'd left it when I went to clean up someone else's glass and with an exaggerated, "oops!" poured the contents of the glass onto the towel.

Only problem? I think houseguest saw me do it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm not sure my new PCP is going to work out. I like her when I see her in the office, but the inability to actually talk to her or her assistant (not just this time around) is becoming very frustrating. I'm also getting very sick of the phrase, "I don't see any notes about that in your file."

Yeah, sj. They ought to be going out of their way to make sure a new patient is happy.

I will get some tomatoe food. I gotta go to get some heat-hardy flowers to replace my pansies from the spring.

Ok, off to wash the dog now!

So the physicians assistant is supposed to call me back before the end of the day. The end of the day there is 4:30. So, what time do I call back if I haven't heard from them, now? 4:15? I hate to be a pain in the ass, but I really don't want to go to PT today without knowing what happened.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Call, sj.

I did. I finally got through to the physicians assistant, who only knows what are in my doctors notes, which are somewhat confusing but seem to say that she was going to call me and tell me to exercise at home. And, of course, my doctor has already left for the day. I am just so frustrated with this whole situation, and I really don't want to go tomorrow.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So who slipped, while kneeling on her own bathroom floor, and dislocated her shoulder?

Me!

Spent 5 hours at the hospital and I got to ride in an ambulance for the first time! I was home alone with Emeline and with as bad as it was, there was no way Joe was going to get me there safely.

Holy fuck was/am I in pain. I've been given fentanyl, morphine, dilaudid, vicodin, and propofol.

Em though? Total rock star. Didn't freak out, helped me make phone calls, put the dog in the bedroom, and sat on the porch to let the EMT's in. Couldn't be prouder of her.
