Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aw, smonster. You should do what feels natural to you. Be who you are. Because that's what he should think he is awesome!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I would not text him. I don't want to sound like a "Rules girl," but I think really early on, giving the other person a bit of room to come toward you is good for two reasons. First, you know they want to hang out with you, which is very relaxing and second, they get some time to realize for themselves that they want to hang out with you.

That being said, I spent a good part of my life being the one who emailed or called the other person right away, so make of that what you will.

I don't see anything wrong with texting him; maybe something like "Happy 4th! I'm looking for a good place to watch fireworks, and a fun person to watch them with! Suggestions? You game?"

Light, friendly, open.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

erika, I'm sorry about your friend.

Did you get to the Eno this year, or did you decide to forego the heatstroke?

Oh, I went. It was very nice--I got to see two owls and pet a corn snake, as well as hear some music, get my yearly henna tat, shop for crafts, etc. Then I came home and was basically useless for a day and a half. Totally worth it.

smonster, I hope you get to see fireworks with St. W.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I went with the neutral and geeky, "Have you finished watching Firefly yet?" Aaaand he's already responded. He's on episode 8.

And I just invited him to come over and watch more with me.

not your mom's socks.

Yay Smonster!

We did the neighborhood bike parade and sack races, moonbounce, ponyrides& etc. Then huge naps and to the pool. Where there are more races. Ima sit and knit and not worry about who's a winner for a bit.

He's coming over. So I have an hour to tidy and find my Firefly DVDs. Meep!
