I'm going to tell him that he needs to come up with some new material.
Not literally, I hope.

Thanks, Jess. I took a look, and they don't have quite what I'm looking for.
I've got a bit of free time on Thursday. Maybe I'll take a look at some furniture stores and antique stores then. I really should stop looking now, though, because my ankle is hurting and it's just making me annoyed at everything.
Hil, is the important factor style or size?
Hil, is the important factor style or size?
Ah, the eternal question...
Well, I'm looking for a drop-leaf table that folds up small enough to not take up too much space but can open up big enough that I can use it for sewing or board games or whatever. And I really like the ones with some drawers or cabinets underneath, because my place is really low on storage. And I need it to look OK with the furniture I have, which is mostly vintage medium-dark wood in relatively simple designs.
There's this [link]
That IKEA one is actually where I started this search, with "That's what I want ... but darker." It's got a polyurethane finish, so I don't think I could stain it without a lot of work.
Ginger, that one is a possibility. I just added it to my watch list.
Ah! This is nice: [link]
