[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omg Pauls Deen's BLT Deviled eggs.

This sounds good enough that I am scared to google for a recipe lest I start drooling!

Go erin, fight The Man!

Today was a beautiful day in Seattle (the first in approximately forever) and it just lifted my spirits so much to be walking around and enjoying the sun and seeing the mountains. Love.

If you really do want the BLT egg recipe it's a cinch.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I know I've been all Roller Derby Likes Carrots lately but my first bout was an amazing experience. SO AWESOME. We lost but only by 8 points. I didn't get a single penalty, took some hits, gave some hits and genuinely had a kick ass time.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Go you, cash! That is so awesome and I am impressed by you! I`m glad you had fun.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

and genuinely had a kick ass time.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Cash, I'm glad you had such a great time!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Happy Easter to those who celebrate. I sang in two services starting at 5.30am, with breakfast in between, and am now in bed for the duration. It was fantastic, though, even if I had to explain very patiently that no, I was not well enough to process into the church (in the dark!), which got dull after about the fourth choir member/organist/choir director grilling. Beautiful services though. (Disclaimer: This is a life update not a conversion attempt. Posting nothing more than the traditional Christian Easter greeting, aimed at my Christian friends, on Facebook has made people start demanding answers about hell and salvation from me. And people wonder why I'm quiet about my faith.)

This afternoon I shall be playing with my Kindle, sleeping off the 4.45am start, and re-watching Doctor Who. Happy times. How are the rest of you spending your Easter weekend? Do you get a day off tomorrow, or is that just us jammy bastards?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

No day off for me. The university that I went to for undergrad would sometimes have Good Friday off, but never Easter Monday. For some reason, the usual rule there was that, in any given year, we'd either have both Yom Kippur and Good Friday as days off, or neither. Nobody ever seemed to know how they decided each year.
