My roommate just moved out. I am depressed for both of us - she's going back to a literal shed on her mom's land, which would be fine if her mom weren't the non-fun kind of craxy. Need to find a new roommate, which I hate doing. Feh.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ah, life in the desert.
I think I still have a little of that mentality in the PNW. I see the rain and know that it makes the lushness possible.
Then again, I can't breathe.
It was in the high 70's today, and yesterday hit high 80's. But after this winter, I am overjoyed to see the sun.
I got my car window semi-fixed -- the front driver's side window motor burned out lat Monday, and I had plastic over the window, which was NOT safe for driving, and my mechanic friend had time to rip the door panel off and get the glass UP, until payday, when he'll replace the motor for me.
And I did a Target run, and D and I bought some fancy cheese and did some window shopping. Fun.
Now for lesson planning and some grading.
Oh, and I need to eat. Haven't done that yet today.
Erin! Thank you so much for the goodies!

You should do that here in New Orleans. I'm just sayin'!
You know what I love about the PNW?
Today's high in Seattle: 58.
Today's high in Jacksonville: 88 Tomorrow's high in Jacksonville: 93
I'll take the rain any day.
::sits on Barb's bench::
Heh. I'm clearly with Barb, though I did quite like Friday's 60 degree and sunny weather.

...whoah. Even if her mom weren't crxy, a literal shed sounds a bit much--is she broke, or trying to take care of mom, or what??

Oh, good! I'm such a slacker; I've been trying to send that since February. Just tiny things I hoped would lift your spirits a bit.

Gurl. Don't I know it. I'm starting to contemplate making the jump without a job, scary as that is. Does K need a roomie? With a very cute dog?

Broke. It really sucks - we loved living together, and she really doesn't want to go back there, but she's putting herself through college.
I've finally recreated my favorite drunk food from a restaurant that sadly no longer exists - BLT on a pita with tzatziki sauce instead of mayo. Pretty good with a rose.
I should probably *not* be watching the end of Moulin Rouge right now.
