Need to find a new roommate, which I hate doing. Feh.
You should do that here in New Orleans. I'm just sayin'!
Early ,'Objects In Space'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You know what I love about the PNW?
Today's high in Seattle: 58.
Today's high in Jacksonville: 88 Tomorrow's high in Jacksonville: 93
I'll take the rain any day.

Heh. I'm clearly with Barb, though I did quite like Friday's 60 degree and sunny weather.
she's going back to a literal shed on her mom's land, which would be fine if her mom weren't the non-fun kind of craxy
...whoah. Even if her mom weren't crxy, a literal shed sounds a bit much--is she broke, or trying to take care of mom, or what??
Erin! Thank you so much for the goodies!
Oh, good! I'm such a slacker; I've been trying to send that since February. Just tiny things I hoped would lift your spirits a bit.

Gurl. Don't I know it. I'm starting to contemplate making the jump without a job, scary as that is. Does K need a roomie? With a very cute dog?
is she broke, or trying to take care of mom, or what??
Broke. It really sucks - we loved living together, and she really doesn't want to go back there, but she's putting herself through college.
I've finally recreated my favorite drunk food from a restaurant that sadly no longer exists - BLT on a pita with tzatziki sauce instead of mayo. Pretty good with a rose.
I should probably *not* be watching the end of Moulin Rouge right now.

Hee! Well, that's the beauty as I see it-- we get those days more and more as we head into spring/summer and we really appreciate them. And can, yanno, go outdoors.
I am slightly sunburned and very tired from a nice weekend at the beach with my whole family - Dad, Mom, Bro and Big E the world's greatest nephew. And Emma the Dog Who Runs Away.
Or not so much runs away as Follows People Down the Beach and Won't Come When Called. Now we should have had her on a leash, but she usually stays around, and the beach is...hard to describe. Not technically private but all the property is privately owned and no condos or anything (at least not until a couple of miles down) so it's very neighborhood-y feeling.
Emma ran. We called. She ran. Mom and I ended up walking over a mile to get her and then a mile back. Yesterday.
Then today there was a mix up and she got out and ran again. Just exploring, following interesting people. But it was only like 1/2 mile total round trip.
But the most fun was with my Big E. Who warmed up to me much quicker and today he and I played on the beach and in the water. And at one point he had the optioin "Go with Daddy or go with Lala". "Lala and Boy go this way." (He calls him self Boy sometimes).
Anyway it was awesome and in a way I'm sad about leaving and moving so far away. But on the other hand I'm ready to go.
I'm moving a week from Tuesday. Actually I'll go up to Charleston and hang out with Mom and Bro (E will be with his Mom) and then that weekend Mom and I will drive up to Vermont.
Lala and Boy? OMG how adorable!!!!!eleventy!!
(It tickles me pink when some of the folks at work who have trouble pronouncing my full name go with "Anna".)
I am eating my first mug cake.
I doubt it is my last.
Damn you people. Damn you to hell.
