Are they scared of bed bugs? Maybe you could start scratching obviously and forwarding them articles about outbreaks.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I got an email today from the law firm that I want to hire me that they are down to considering me and one other person and will decide by late next week. I sort of feel like a legal beauty pageant contestant. I really, really want this job and it would be SO MUCH easier to leave my current psycho place if I had something well paying to move to.
Oh omnis, what soldering iron do you use or recommend?
Speaking of soldering (and audio effects) - I just got this kit today: MICrODEC
A Microcontroller and a Codec – A Reprogrammable Audio Processor
Omg, Stephanie, that's kind of evil of them!! Eek. Best of luck.
The bedbug thing is too likely to come true and backfire horribly on me! Karma and all that. And sadly, no pet allergies. I took a quick look at priceline, but even a $60 hotel room would end up being $350!
meara, could you just tell them, "It wouldn't be convenient for me to put you up, but I can give you a list of convenient hotels"? Or -- you said they don't want to spend the money, right? But even so, could you tell them that, because they've never stayed with you before, you assumed they wouldn't be staying this time, and it just wouldn't work if they did?
meara, can you offer to split the cost of a hotel with them? Or is that still too much?
I don't understand why I still have 20/20 vision. Both of my parents needed glasses by my age.
Yeah, I think I may do a combo of Steph and Kate--say I didn't expect it and its not convenient (especially with my roommate!!)! And offer to split the cost.
Crossing my fingers for you, Stephanie!
health~ma to all
Oh omnis, what soldering iron do you use or recommend?I prefer Weller irons. If you got the money, get the temperature control station. Tip would depend on what you typically solder. I like a thin point tip for the end, to get into the tiny cups of many audio connections.
